What are those clouds?

Man my ears are cold walking to school today. It's a brisk -3 in one of the coldest cities in America. It actually feels like -18. This is the kinda day where you go fishing and your line freezes up real quick and you have to bury your face into your coat to prevent against the 10 mph winds from the southwest. There few clouds today but those that are there are really high in the air. I believe those are called cirrus, but I guess il have to look at my weather field guide to see, oh wait, I don't have one...

The reason why we have Southwest winds today is because of the high pressure system over Iowa currently.
