High pressure

Well by the looks of it today we are in a high pressure system. This high pressure system is pushing the air down and not letting it reach the lifting condensation level which is resulting in no clouds today.  We also have a slight northwest wind and temperatures should top out around 14 but it may get down -9 at night so bundle up later on! Another factor that makes it chilly is the jet stream pushing all the cold air down from continental Canada which as we all know is "real cold up der eh"?
