Well everybody was freaking out about how cold it was suppose to be today and it didn't even seem that cold to me! The feel like temp is only 3 degrees right now with winds from the west at 2mph even though they were forecasted to be around 20. Thank god right? I can't wait for the 40+ degree temps next week. If you look at the surface map below you can see that we are on the back side of that cold front and you can see the distinct change in temperature very well along that front. A lot of high pressure systems along the Rocky Mountains and that stationary front. We have been learning more and more in class each day so soon I should have some new material for you!
